spring wants to play peek-a-boo…

…and so do i

 

(faux leather jacket, flying tomato. black tee, h&m. necklace, anthropologie. cutoffs, stealthily removed from tobias funke’s person. oxfords, lovely people.*)

one day it reaches 70 degrees, the next it’s back down to the upper 40′s. spring appears to be playing peek-a-boo and i’m game. it’s already the second half of march and i can’t help but itch to wear something that’s not full-coverage or made of wool. NYC’s natural thermometer disagrees, naturally, so the shorts are worn with a caveat or two: a sheer layer on the legs and a light jacket provide additional warmth. meanwhile, a floral necklace and light-hearted footwear keep an airy balance to the look.

thus, i declare a tie: spring = 1, shannon = 1.

bring it on, mother nature!

 

 

*please keep an open mind, i am le awkward in front of the camera.
