January has rolled in. Time to embrace the whole “new year, new you” bit. After a rather sickly fall , it’s been months since I’ve seen a running path or gym. So, getting back in shape is my (cliche) goal for 2014. I even signed up for my first half marathon, just to make sure it sticks.
With a 40+ degrees forecast, it appeared the running gods were shining upon me. I paid a visit to my usual running path of choice: Hudson River Park, south of my gym at Chelsea Piers. With the calming river on one side and the energetic urban jungle on the other, there is never any lack of visual aid.
The sun kept making attempts to peak through the fog, creating the perfect backdrop for a dreamy afternoon jog.
